It’s been found that smokers with lung cancer who quit

after cancer diagnosis live longer than those who

keep smoking.  

Today, more Americans are doing more things that prevent

cancer, things like regular check-ups, and not smoking.

Death rate from cancer generally has dropped 1.1 percent

a year since 1993.

Report shows female lung cancer diagnoses have declined

about 2 percent a year since 1998. 

Breast cancer statistics show that deaths from breast

cancer has finally dropped to lowest rates for breast cancer history.
